Healing through Play

Therapy with children and adolescents creates lasting change and healing.

Have you noticed an increase in anxiety or depression with your child?

Is your child struggling with resistant and defiant behaviors at home, school, or in the community?

I work with kids to help them figure out the thoughts and emotions behind the behaviors.

Healing Through Play

Play is the natural language of children.

Play therapy is an easy way to communicate with and help children and teens achieve optimum mental health. This form of working through their feelings is often a more comfortable way for kids to engage. With purposeful toys, props, and activities, the child’s feelings come to the surface during play and they are able to work out their struggles with support from the therapist. Kids who are more comfortable with traditional “talk therapy” will naturally integrate it into the play therapy sessions.

I use healing through play because kids cannot communicate like adults.

It may look like all fun and game but play is serious work. I help children and adolescents.

Healing through play helps kids with:

  • trauma

  • clinginess

When kids get their needs met through play it impacts their family, their school life, and the way they interact with others.
